The Board of Directors
Board members are Spiros Mylonopoulos (Chairman), Konstantin Papaxanthis, Kyriakos Eleftheriadis, Carl Mikael Bergendahl Mylonopoulos, Sophia Bergendahl Mylonopoulos and Leif Andersson, who is Secretary of the Board and appointed member.

The work of the Board
The Board assignment shall be exercised in accordance of the statutes of the Foundation, laws and regulation and the rules of procedures. The assignment shall be exercised on the basis of what is best for the Foundation.  All the board members are responsible for the work of the Board in equal extent, unless there is written in the statutes or law. The Chairman of the Board is leading the work and is responsible for the work is done efficiently and ensures that the Board members fulfills their duties. All work that the founders and committees are dedicating for the Foundation, is on voluntarily basis ("Pro Bono") and without any financial compensation, where the Foundation statutes is expressing it clearly.

Spiros Mylonopoulos, Chairman and Board Member
Spiros was born in Athens, Greece in 1945. After graduation made two years academic training in shipping. Then after a 8-year service in the Hellenic Merchant Marine, and as 29-year-old Spiros takes the captain's degree/diploma. Spiros met his future wife Elisabeth Bergendahl in 1970 and moved to Sweden in 1974. After 6 months of intensive learning in the Swedish language, Spiros began to read a MBA at the University of Lund. After completion the MBA in 1979, moved to Stockholm in 1979 and worked in two food companies. Moves back to Skåne in 1983 together with his wife (as sole heir) taking over Bergendahl & Son - a food company.
Member of the Group Management team but also working "the store floor" a number of years. In 1988 Spiros was appointed CEO & President of Bergendahl then had a turnover of over a 1 Billion SEK and 300 employees. CEO & President until 2012 for the parent company including three different divisions in six countries with a turnover then of about SEK 10 Billions and approximately 4,000 employees. Spiros is from 2012 until today Chairman of the parent company. In addition, Spiros have five external board assignments, some to mention, Skåne Food Innovation Network, a furniture company among others. Spiros have co-founded together with well-known profiles from Skåne the "entrepreneurial corporate finance platform", named "Growth Malmö" where it for some years have created about 1,500 new jobs. Spiros has been and is active as a mentor for the management Novare network and strategic advisor to Region Skåne's management team about food issues. Spiros is a founding member of the Hellenic Foundation of the Nordic Countries and working since the start as the Chairman of the board. 

Konstantin Papaxanthis, Board Member
Konstantin was born in Kinna, Västergötland, Sweden in 1970. Between the years 1976-1981 Konstantin lived and went to school in Tyrnavos in Thessaly (one of Greece's wine and fruit districts) and then move up to Kinna again. In 1989 Konstantin moved to Stockholm for studies at the University of Stockholm, graduating with majors in Economics and Business Administration (specialization management and financing). He had a very interesting and instructive career at TCO (The Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees) between 1994-1995 and then 1995-1999 in the Financial Sector Union of Sweden working with banks and learned primarily organization and in 1999 together with his wife Anna Seddigh switched to the entrepreneurial path.
For nearly 20 years, Konstantin and his wife started, ran, and has worked in several companies as CEO & President, and key-person, within the ICT/ IT security, both in Sweden and International and has created a solid international network. Also holds several board assignments. Turnaround- and growth specialist. Is since 2015 CEO and owner of Scytáles AB, Chairman of Trust1Team Sarl and very active with various topics since 2000 within the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Konstantin is a founding member of the Hellenic Foundation of the Nordic Countries and working since the start as board member.


Carl-Mikael Bergendahl Mylonopoulos, Board Member
Carl-Mikael was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1982. Carl-Mikael is working with the family business Bergendahl & Son in the retail sector and food industry. Carl-Mikael has done this most of his adult life. Belonging to the owner family and works alongside its operative work with the corporate governance, ownership issues and board work. Carl-Mikael is a founding member of the Hellenic Foundation of the Nordic Countries and working since the start as board member.
 
Kyriakos Eleftheriadis, Board Member
Kyriakos was born in Trelleborg, Sweden in 1967. Kyriakos is an entrepreneur. The majority of his working time is devoted to work as CEO & President of KEAB Gruppen AB, where Kyriakos is owner as well. Kyriakos has owned and operated several companies in various industries and is a shareholder in companies linked to the environment, companies that perform traditional services in a much more environmentally friendly way, or offer products that are more environmentally friendly. Kyriakos is a founding member of the Hellenic Foundation of the Nordic Countries and working since the start as board member.

Sophia Bergendahl Mylonopoulos, Board Member
Sophia was born in Kristianstad, Sweden in 1977. Sophia is working with the family business Bergendahl & Son in the retail sector and food industry. Sophia has done this most of her adult life but with the division of Fashion, where Glitter International is incorporated and has worked extensively with purchasing and assortment issues. Belonging to the owner family and together with her brother Carl-Mikael, are the fourth generation of owners. Sophia works alongside with her operational duties with the corporate governance, ownership issues and board work. Sophia is a founding member of the Hellenic Foundation of the Nordic Countries and working since the start as board member.


Leif Andersson, Appointed Board Member and  Secretary of the Board
Worked with Asset Management for private individuals, companies, major institutions, but in particular with foundations for almost 30 years. Joined SEB in Malmö in 1987, working with Asset Management for wealthy people, but was soon responsible for the major foundations in southern Sweden. Remained at SEB until 1998, where Leif joined the Carnegie Investment Bank in Malmö and worked there with Asset Management as well. Leif returned back in 2005 to SEB, holding the position as Head of SEB´s foundation management in southern Sweden. In relation to above, Leif was appointed 2014 responsible for SEB's foundation management in Sweden. The operations covers in addition to Asset Management as well accounting, board administration management and application management. After a short while back Leif works today as an independent financial consultant for foundations, but also with Family Office business for wealthy individuals. Leif is today appointed board member and secretary of the Hellenic Foundation of the Nordic Countries.
